Mal O’Brien Meet-and-Greet at Wodapalooza

Team Barebells came back from an exciting weekend at the annual Wodapalooza Festival on Miami’s Bayfront Park, a four-day premier fitness event centered around the first major CrossFit® sanctioned competition of 2022. Barebells Athlete Mal O’Brien made a big splash at the festival, where many of Mal’s fans joined her for an exclusive meet-and-greet!

Thanks to Team Barebells, fans had the opportunity to drop by the NOBULL store for a special meet-and-greet with Mal O’Brien. Among the many events and festivities during Wodapalooza weekend, meeting a fan-favorite athlete like Mal was a highlight for many!

If you don’t already know Mal, she isn’t just your ordinary athlete – at just 18 years old, she already has an impressive list of accolades to her name. Named “Rookie of the Year” in 2021, she came back a year later and placed second at the 2022 CrossFit® Games, victoriously making her the youngest person ever to stand at the podium. 

She is a force to be reckoned with as she will compete again in this year’s CrossFit® Open. Like her fans at Wodapalooza, Team Barebells loves and supports Mal’s dedication to hard work, preparedness, and confidence – all things Barebells can stand behind, too.
